We’re looking for Relief Workers to join our staff team.
Rate of pay is £6.08 per hour, rising to £6.50 following the Probationary Period. There are no regular hours of work; Relief Workers are called upon to cover when ordinary staff are absent, or when there are vacant roles on the permanent team. We’re happy to consider people who have other regular responsibilities including studying or other work – we ask you to give us a broad idea of your availability at the time of applying (there’s a sheet included in the Relief Worker pack for you to use for this).
Our Relief Workers can be involved in all aspects of our work, including cover in the Hostel or Community Centre, Support Work and our social and learning activities.
The role will include professional contact with young adults from time to time, including during periods of difficulty.
